Let's Play!
I was so excited to find this table at a thrift store because it was so odd. It had the legs and a metal top and this removable wooden tray. I brought it home, Steve said “Turn the tray over and make a game table where people can store their pieces underneath.” Brilliant! So I decided to make a checkerboard - a great general game table top. It was fun to create because I had to lay out the square grid, but also leave space for the fact that this is a round table. I loved surrounding the checkerboard grid with these crashed and smashed puzzle pieces.
Have fun playing!
