Baby Beluga

I found this cute little table at Goodwill, but it was a weird green color. Steve painted it white and tightened up the legs. It looked to me like something that belonged in a child's room. One of my favorite songs when I taught preschool decades ago was "Baby Beluga." So I drew this happy whale in the middle and then started filling her in with these blue glass pieces we had on hand. I was making this table during Pride Month, so filling in the rest with rainbow colors seemed appropriate. Shy in reds and oranges. Ocean in greens. I think it's a joyful, playful piece.
